Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. Her career began as a supporting role in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). Later, she was cast in the role of reporter Willa McPherson in the FX show Dirt. Also, she played a supporting part in the short-lived FX series The Ex List. She was Kaylee who was a young Moira on the very first season of FX's American Horror Story. She was Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She is also the voice of various characters in the comedy show Family Guy. She is currently the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe who is a character from Netflix's series Virgin River. Breckenridge was raised in Darien in Connecticut. She moved to California with her mother when she was of 10. They went through a few moves before finally moving to Mill Valley. Breckenridge began to become interested in photography, acting, and singing at age 13. At the age of 15, she and her mother moved back to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career.
