Laura Linney
Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964, in New York in the U.S.A. is an American actress who is known for her portrayal of strong but vulnerable characters. Linney comes from a theatrical heritage, her father is the playwright Romulus Linney. In 1986, she graduated at Brown University. She then went on to study Theatre Arts at the Arts Theatre School Moscow before graduating from Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City was her first stop in 1990. The year 1990 was the year she started the beginning of her Broadway career. She was praised for her performances in both Hedda Gabrieller as well as Six Degrees of Separation.
